Last Minute Injury Updates
I’ll include myself on this list with a nasty hangover, suffered during a bachelor party I attended last night. But on to the REAL injuries:
Carson Palmer’s out; his elbow has been bothering him since Friday, and Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the start in his place. I’d stay away, even if he is against the Browns.
Brett Favre will play. But you already knew that. The guy’s a flat out gamer. I worry about his production though, since I believe the Cardinals defense is a little underrated.
Willis Mcgahee will play, but might be limited because of his eye injury. I would also stay away, since the Pittsburgh run defense is also pretty good.
Both Adrian Peterson and Ladanian Tomlinson look like solid starts, as both received decent workloads last week and look to be on the mend. So if you have that #1 or #2 pick, start thinking bigger numbers out of your stud.
Ryan Grant is still a risky play with his hamstring injury, but should see the field. I would bench him against Tampa Bay though, if you’ve got decent alternatives.
Other guys who won’t be playing: Joey Galloway, Justin Fargas, Sidney Rice, Willie Parker, Ahman Green, Donte Stallworth
